Exclamation Texas HPE650 Photo shoot: (High-Res Images, Beware)

[There are many high-resolution images of an amazing car in this thread, if you have slow internet or bandwidth limit's - you are warned!]

Just had the pleasure of doing an improv photo shoot of Hennesseyrgv's Custom White Wide Body Carbon Fiber Camaro HPE650. I just happened to see his car at San Antonio's Car's and Coffee (Coffee and Rides) today, and I was there early enough that only a few cars were parked around it and there were hardly any people around to get in the way - I didn't pack my people filter in my DSLR bag. doh!
So, even with all this I decided to take some quick snap shots of the ride, I figured it was worth it.

The car looks so much more impressive in person (Seeing pictures does not do this car justice), seeing it sit there in a parking lot, wings up - down right meanicing. I didn't think the carbon fiber was in a weird place like I did when I saw the pictures on the build thread, they just seemed so right in person.

I was caught off guard and shocked to see this car at the event, I read followed it's build thread on here from time to time and even commented on his progress a few times. I was happy, this was the first Camaro I have ever seen that I knew from online. Cool stuff, rarely meet someone online in person.

I met Hennesseyrgv while taking pictures, talked to him - he is a real cool cat. Wouldn't have expected him to be the owner, he was very down to earth - not a typical airhead.

And so on and so forth, here are the photo's I have produced from the mock up photo shoot.

Please excuse the horrible photography, my set up was not good. It was cold outside and I was not expecting to see a super car, so I was not properly prepared. All photos were taken w/o a stabilizer/tripod.
(Now that I think about it, I should have expected to see a super car - it's Car's and Coffee son!

Hopefully the images don't suck too bad, I am not very good at this.

I can't vote. It's missing the "You're damn right I'm good at photography" option!!!

Excellent photography! The owner would be proud to see the documentation of his camaro at this detail!

Well done man!

I voted you're getting there just cause none of the pictures really stood out to me as anything spectacular but they are nice pictures. I do not like what they did to that car appearance wise though so that may be a big part of it for me. You didn't really have much to work with in terms of scenery either but I can tell you did the best that you could with what you had to work with. Different car and better location and my opinion would probably be a bit different. I'm not a professional or even good photographer myself though so don't take anything I just said too seriously and keep doin what you do.

The car doesn't do it for me either, it is way too busy and way over done but to each their own.
As for the photography? well the pictures are decent, but(and I will be honest with you here) they look like run of the mill snapshots. Don't take this wrong though, I too am a struggling photographer myself and am also having a hard time at it too. Your images are too busy and there is too much distracting things going on in the images and all around the car. I know it is hard but try and learn how to frame the images so that you are putting the main focus and spotlight on the car/subject, even in that busy situation you as a photographer need to learn how to work that image along with the surroundings and background to make it so that the main focus is on the car.
Some of the images need some serious PP (post processing for those of you who don't know the lingo) but you have a lot of good images there to work with. A lot of those images I can work with in Photoshop, there is a thread in here callled "Playing with my Crayons" by Hazman, go there and check out some of his work, and if you have any questions as to how he did some things in there then I am sure he will be happy to answer those questions.
Another little trick I am learning is getting the images with some really cool angles and close ups, keep working at it, you are off to a good start.

I hardly lay my head in them, but I design them where incase I would get into an accident the center will break like an egg shell, not hurting my self.
