I'm not too bad at taking things apart and putting them back together, the problem is I have next to zero automotive experience and very few of the appropriate tools. Definitely is a huge bonus to have helpful and knowledgeable friends in the club.

@Spike: Hell yeah! Saw the pics and they look great. The car looks better in person though. I can't wait to see the rest of the interior pieces installed. End of mods for the year? Hahahha who you trying to fool man

@Joe: Will said he would help, but if I end up needing another set of hands sometime I'll definitely give ya a shout. Was hoping we'd catch up after Sylvan last summer but I just got too busy to do much with the club. I'm making it a priority to be more active this summer!

@Andy: The dates don't look too bad, but it's a long trip and probably would cost too much. BUT you never know. I'm doing the Glen trip on the 2nd I think it is, the one that Steve is putting on. I've already spent a good bit of $$ on mods (or am planning to) and at this point, I'm pushing it with the future bride! Thursdays at Sylvan and Tuesdays in Utica I'll be doing pretty regularly though.

i dont do utica every week everyother usually ,, and the nationals is only 6 hrs drive

I agree with Andy come on and go to Nationals, So like Hotel Gas & food $500.00 weekend .... We had a blast last year ....

Hey club members, I just got off the phone with Jeff , He's the one that puts together the Windmill show in Penn Yan ,

So he wanted to let our club know about the North East Hot Rod Run , If any of you know about the Hot Rod Power Tour , this is sorta like it But on the east Coast. And to linvite any of us that would like to join in the run this year . They will be starting at Lake George this year And making thier way down to stay the night in Geneva NY and they have the Watkins Race Track set up for Laps also , then go down through PA to West Point .. This is in the rough as of right now I don't have all the info , The dates are Oct.4th . Like that weekend , So more or less they were letting us know and if any of us want to join in on the run we can. You can jump in any where anytime & do the same if you want to jump out ,, Thier are no REG. fees no rules ,, Just a crise and stops to meet & greet along the way ..So when I get more info on this I will LYK and post it , as in times and places they will be going through .. And if any of us want to get together we can set it up , Sounds like a fun event.. So I'll keep you posted ...

The Trip will officially kickoff on Wednesday October 3rd, but for those of us cruising in from the east I am adding an extra day if you don't want to have to get up at the crack of ass on Wednesday morning to make it out to Lake Geroge. Plenty of time for things to change but here is the rough draft

Tuesday Oct, 2 - Meet up at Mt. Wachusett in Princeton, MA. Take a slow cruise west down rural Route 2 into New York. Probably make a midday stop at the Saratoga Auto Museum. Arrive in Lake George and take a drive up Prospect Mountain. Fort William Henry Museum is also right there

Wednesday Oct, 3 - Cruise through the Adirondacks up to the Thousand Islands Region at the Canadian border.

Thursday Oct, 4 - Follow the eastern shores of Lake Ontario to New York's Finger Lakes Region

Friday Oct, 5 - Drive "Thunder Road" at Watkins Glen

Saturday, Oct 6 - Maybe end the day in the West Point area after cruising up Perkins Memorial Drive at Bear Mountain

Sunday, Oct 7 - Everyone heads home

I'll keep nationals in mind. 500.00 weekend... not too bad on the pocket but that cuts into my mod budget I can't keep bringing my stock SS around you guys. It gives me wee man complex! hahahaha

hey George , Wait , there is nothing wrong with having a stock car around any of us , We went to National's last year and we were completly stock , except a locking fuel door , And we had alot of compliment's and alot intrest of pepole looking... And we had a BLAST.. As we learned , Mods come in time , One here , one there, But in the end It's a Camaro and being with everyone is the thing that's most important...

So please come on & go with us ... You'll have a good time ,,

LOL Thank you I always have a blast with you guys! I was only semi-serious about the wee man complex I have some stuff in the works anyway... just need this weather to clear up. By the time we hit the beach in may/june I'll be re-badged and slammed. Probably ordering my drop springs later this week.

Sorry....I'll stop posting now, I was just trying to figure out what the hell was going on since I went to buy my tickets and the Glen gave me 100% different info than what was posted here. The Glen was attemat about Friday laps.
