I believe that depsit would be a more accurate term.

MSRP and a firm hand shake. No deposit or paper work.

Some will say I'm going to get taken for a ride and won't get the car, but this dealership is small and they like to work with the military. They don't want to mess that up and possibly get on a black list.(takes a lot but it can happen)

Plus it helps that I have purchased 4 vehicles from them in the last 5 years, so they like me.

The USAA discount does not apply to the ZL1, I confirmed this with USAA and my dealership.

What is MSRP in your country. I priced one in canada to be $61,000.00 at MSRP.

Canadian MSRP is $58K for the ZL1 coupe (no options). Never heard of area specific MSRP

MSRP and then a discount from my GM credit card will probably knock off another 1k off the price.

$1,000 down! Hoping to get my NM Farm Bureau discount of $500 as there are no exculsions on any Camaro level. Therefore my membership will fork out the additional $500 and I'm also hoping to get the GM Employee price. I live in New Mexico and ordered all the way up in Michigan. Everyone here in NM will put $20-$30K mark up. Not a lie either. When Camaro's first came out they were selling here for around $50-$60K. I can only imagine a ZL1. Although the dealership I'm dealing with said they will honor all discounts and sell to me at MSRP. I'm super excited and can't wait to be the first one in NM with one!!
