ANOTHER "I UPGRADED" THREAD... But..
So after a year of waiting.. and waiting and not being able to fall asleep easy because all i kept thinking about was upgrading my 1LT camaro.. I finally did it today!!! I got my 2ss !!! Its surreal finally getting to see that SS symbol on my own car! the leather seats with the SS stitching... the Mail slot! all those small things that differentiate it from my old LT ...oh ya and the ENGINE!!!! OH AND.... i cant believe im about to say this ... I love the 2012 Steering wheel now! and interior... for months and months i talked about how much i hated it .... weird but anyway lets get to the point...
This thread is different.. this thread is to ask you .... If your anything like me your obsessed with your car, and no one you know understands your obsession. So Whats the reaction you get from friends and family when you tell them your upgrading your perfectly new camaro.. to a v8 camaro?? especially when gas prices are going through the roof!! I got made fun of for trading in a 2011 for a 2010 but they dont know i got alot more of a car then i original had and love the car and let the mods begin

Beautiful car. SIM really brings out the curves in this machine imo. Good choice. I can relate as idid the same. Had a 1LT too and upgraded to a 2SS. And yes im sprung on my car!!!

Thanks Gentlemen! yeah im getting a lot of comments from friends saying.. "WAIT YOU SOLD YOUR CAR? AND BOUGHT THE SAME CAR" lol ... i absolutely agree SSgunner .. i was seriously starting to hate Black with a passion .. it was too swirly and dirty all the time ... one of the things i wanted to do was make sure i got a color that hid dirt well.. and SIM is it! Im also going to try to duplicate the look of the SIM Concept as much as i can

Lol, i got the same comments at work. My LT was also SIM with rally stripes and got the SS SIM also but without stripes not by choice but i learned to like it without. Looks much cleaner and besides its identical to my die cast.

I just did this this last week and I can honestly say that once you sit them in the driver seat, show them the camera and HUD and let them tap the gas alittle they dont say anything hehe
