On a serious note I just checked out the Lucas Oil Raceway site.
On their schedule they have our camarofestIII listed as Friday the 3nd and Saturday the 4th- 2 days, not 3.
Nothing about Thursday the 2nd- I hope the let us in On Thursday.

I could be wrong, but was my impression that there weren't any track events on Thursday.

That's fine but are the grounds open for us to meet up on the track grounds on Thursday ?
The fests are not all about racing.

I have not been to a Camaro Fest yet, but I'm thinking the meet and greet will be at the Host Hotel and experience from other events tells me it will be in the parking lot, but maybe one of the mods can chime in?

Ya that would be fine. I was at the first Valdosta Ga festI, and a lot of the action & fun was at the host hotel.
From the huge interest shown here, I hope they have a very very large parking area - lol.

Thursday is the arrival day. The only thing going on at the track will be vendors and staff setting things up so that the we can begin bright and early on Friday. We expect most caravans to be arriving Thursday afternoon/evening and once they arrive, they'll be getting to know each other in the parking lot(s) of the host hotel & the overflows. So thats why the info on Camaro5 says that C5F III starts on the 2nd, while the track says it starts on the 3rd.
