I'll keep monitoring it. As soon as that car is unloaded, your dealer will need to call the DBC to have the car marked as "hot" so that you can get it as soon as possible.

I am assuming that some cars that are not yet moving would be because there are not enough going to same spot and until they can fill a railcar they stay bayed. Is this a good assumption? second question. How many cars fit in a railcar? I went out to the yard here in Denver but was not able to count how many fit in one but they are pretty darn big and looked like 3 levels. Anyway, I will keep watching for the car on the list and try to figure out what has happened. Seems like a lot of voids between vin numbers the higher up you go and I am sure this is not isolated. This car belongs to member 2SSONLY and she is in conferences so I told her I would watch for it and text if any news happened. Thanks for all the efforts and keep up the great work.

We really can't assume anything here. There's a lot of variables that go into the whole equation.
Do you have any concrete answers from GM about the whereabouts of the car?
Her dealer needs to call the DBC to get the latest info about the car.
We can do more if we have some answers from GM.

About 20 cars fit in a railcar.

That excel doc is a massive undertaking. Thanks for making it. Very cool to keep up with.

HuJass, I thought the same thing, about 20 cars in a railcar, but I just ran a pivot table on my data and came to an interesting conclusion. They are only putting 10 Camaros in a railcar. They must be using only Bi-level cars for some reason. It doesn't make any sense because these cars are so low. Must be ground clerance issues for getting them onto the third level???

Hey KK2010SS, I started my thread about held up train cars in the wrong place I think. Yesterday you asked about a vin or railcar number, all I have is my vin which is 2g1fk1ejxa9103714. This number has never shown up anywhere on a tracker but the invoice came in last Thursday. Thanks for the interest and help.

Maybe your car is on the same load as mine. I was told it is a whole car full of SS Camaros. If anyone can help you it's the people on this forum!

Last night while at work I noticed that the Silver Ice Metallic going to Panama City, Florida was delivered with a damaged side mirror. Mine is a manual though. We so can not wait to get this car....Dealer says it has been at 4800 for like ever...We found it on the vin list on 31 March...Nothing since though...

KK that is awsome......Maybe many good things will happen now that yours has rolled off the line. Ok lets look at this closely for all to benefit from since it is most current. 3400 on Sat 4-25 3800 on Tuesday 5-5 which prob really means it got done yesterday afternoon. Dont work on sat or sunday and car took 4.5 days to build. That means that your car started down the line 4-28. That is the day after the plant got the broadcast on Monday morning when the first shift after broadcast on saturday. This is incredible and very exciting news. I hope this is the current case and has been very useful thanks and CONGRATS ON YOUR CAR. So are you getting stripes or is it ready to ship? Its a good time that yours has come out because now I am sure you will be tracking 24/7. lol

The bi-levels are the truck & SUV railcars.
Hmmm. That's interesting.

man i appreciate the premise behind their (rr's) thinking but man they are in no hurry to move these trains... theyve held three "deliveries" to make one trainload out to montana. originally it was going to be 5/3 unload.... and now it looks like the 12th...maybe.

why im ranting? dunno. im only at 1100 hahaha

HuJass- Nice work. Now why is my VIN # skipped??? Who knows VIN is
2G1FK1EJ6A9106125.

You wonder if they pick 5 out of 50 to go over real good (Or some kind of similar sampling plan). Last time I checked, I was at event code status 4B00 Bayed on 4/29. But you would think if it got past this far (Code-wise), that it's past QC checks.

4/28 3800
4/29 4000
4/29 4104
4/29 4B00
