I've owned and driven manuals since before I got my license. and I've eaten and drank (non-alcoholic beverages) on long cruises before without cup holders in the car.

as for sucking down the gas, I'm going to be towing a trailer up there and back... I know about the gas issue.

as for every 4 hours or so... with my convoy, we will be stopping every 2 hours or so to meet up with other groups and allow people to get fuel and food while we are waiting.

indeed. i know! even hauling a house! literally. one of those houses that are already built and dont have a foundation. the ones that just go on the concrete slab. 2500HD hauling one of those beat a powerstroke hauling a Riding Lawn Mower!

Yep.........we're leaving out Thursday.....so we don't have the luxury of stopping every 2 hours...............:(

BTW, I've never gotten a speeding ticket in my 38 years of driving..........so I'm not gonna start now

Remember on the way to Pony Wars I was the one that finally said enough after about an hour of 100+/- speeds...........I'm just good at weaving in and out of traffic.........don't think Spike's trailer is up to that manuever!

BTW, Spikey, can I call you that? We probably need to start 2 different SE Camarovan threads.......think you can talk someone into Stickying the 2nd one. Maybe title one the Wednesday Camarovan and one the Thursday Camarovan????

I can't get too crazy on the Camarovan up to indy....I found out that I gotta keep my record clean if I want to get a job as a pilot at the regionals.

But I'll just stay in the middle of the 20 or so cars...what are the odds they will pick me out?
