My 2012 does 14 around town, 15 if drive for mpg. 16 so far over 4300 miles city highway but not driving for mpg, about what the sticker said. My v6 did 18 same conditions, same as sticker.sticker says city only so think its a bit optomistic.

It's so funny how you non city people complain about 18+ mpg when city people struggle to even get 16mpg! I have a stock 2012 v6 and I only get 15.3 sometimes even lower and thats driving at speed limit! So quit the complaining all the time!

FYI..gas out in Cali is at 5.15 for premium and 4.80 for regular

I don't give a shizz about a v6.
I'm getting 11-12 in town, 18 hwy. 1800 mile round trip from Conway AR to South Padre TX plus a little island crusing average 20mpg (90 gallons) by the receipt...so I guess the 55mph speedzones helped.

18mpg doesn't surprise me all that much, especially if the car is pretty well modded. I get around the 20-22 mpg mark, but might be less than that if I'm really getting on it. I sometimes forget to reset the computer at fill ups.

I don't sweat too much about mpg because I knew going in that I wasn't going to have epic mpg with this car. I hate that gas costs me more than most people with more "fuel efficient" cars, but I guess you have to pay to play sometimes.

Back when I had my 2010. I could get 15-16 around town. And really the best I could get on the highway was 21-22 driving about 70-75

Anyone who is getting more than 16 MPG city with this car is either a) lying or b) driving impossibly slow.

I've tried my absolute best to get good mileage (drive slow) on some tanks and it just isn't possible.

Maybe some engines behave differently than others... or maybe some "city" driving is a lot different than other city driving, but really. My city driving is not very stop and go (with an average speed of 38 MPH). And I get 15 mpg MAX. Driving like an angel. With 25% highway.....

I get about 10-12 hrs on a full tank, if I park it and let it run In the city, I watch my needle drop a 1/4 tank in an hr or so. It GUZZLES! But on the highway she drives like a dream and at 70, I can 25-26mpg which is great for me. If I wanted 25-30 city, Id buy a mo-ped.

My average speed is 19 mph and my mpg is around 14-16. I live in a very hilly area. With all the stop lights on hills coasting doesn't help. My dad 2002 zo6 gets better gas mileage then I do
