Test n Tune this Saturday at SIR. Gates open at 8 AM. Trials start at 9:30 AM. $25.00 per driver.

I use a Wix 57060 oil filter. I just buy a new OEM drain bolt from Merle's. It's only $7.

No extended warranty. But i knew I was going to modify some internals. That said, I have never bought an extended warranty.

i have a question for someone. it may sound stupid but i asked a guy at the dealer about using royal purple in the car and he said that it was meant to run on mobile one. is it going to hurt the car to use royal purple?

No. I've been running RP for 20K miles. It is not TECHNICALLY certified for use in the car per the warranty. The car, in my opinion, runs much smoother with RP in it. It TRUELY feels like it revs easier.

Oh, and I'm planning on trying amsoil for my next oil change. Not because I don't like RP, but just because I want to give it a shot.

I use a K&N HP1017 filter (can get em at Checker/Oreillys). I like the 1" wrench-off feature. For oil I go with Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic in the 5 quart jugs from Walmart. I usually drain the oil then run 2 quarts through to flush everything out since I don't need all 10 from two jugs. Haven't replaced the washer yet myself.
