A copy of the original letter to dealers explaining that production of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and all shipments to dealerships have been held by General Motors for quality assessment:

The QC hold letter is old news at this point. Almost everyone on Camaro5 who is interested in the ZL1 is well aware of the letter.

The letter was released on Friday, March 2, 2012, and has been discussed here extensively. See the ZL1 QC Hold Extension "mega"-Thread for details.

I have found that it is often beneficial to perform at least a cursory reading of the threads on the site before posting, as many times one will find that the topic that one is interested in addressing will have already been discussed and that redundancy can be avoided.

The ZL1 QC release will coincide with certain PAGAN rituals on March 20th. Of course, there will be the sacrificial virgins & other activities to follow. Drake will get his car on April 1st.

Just talked to GM. My TPW was pushed from the week of March 5th to the week of April 2nd. As long as I get it by mid May, can't really drive it until then anyways. Especially after the fresh dump of snow we got yesterday. Either way, more time to ride the Nytro.

I wish they'd have held the 2009 CTS-V's a bit longer........... we have to deal with:

1 clicking wheels
2 squeaky seats
3 leaking sunroofs
4 rattling sounds emanating from the supercharger
5 lazy shifts in the automatic transmissions (even in sport mode).

So just wait it out and let them fix everything they can, you will soon forget the wait as soon as you fire it up.

Here's a scary thought. In just three short years, in 2015, the same number of years will have passed (30) between 2015 and the year that Back To The Future was released (1985), and 1985 and the year to which Marty went back in time in the movie, 1955. How time flies when one is getting old.

No, but those of us who frequent the ZL1 forum try to keep the noise, clutter, and redundancy in our section to a minimum and try to maintain a better signal to noise ratio than that found in the general forums.

Also, there is a difference between a repost of something that was posted quite a while ago versus a repost of something that is a current hot topic.
