the biggest problem today is the rate in which we recieve information, as has been stated before. otherwise the car would be released in "the spring" and everybody would just be waiting and hoping it gets here soon. because every aspect of the build process is tracked now everyone is impatient. enjoy this time. this will be the only time you are waiting for your new zl1, and it's kinda like being the next kid in line at the rollercoaster. The anticipation is part of the fun

I think FAA ground clearance was required because of the speed the ZL1 will be able to produce. JMHO

I truly believe there is equal enjoyment in anticipation of an event or acquisition and actually participating in the event or getting the new toy. I'm starting to rethink that position as I have been waiting since 5th gens came out for this car (whatever Chevy called it was irrelevant.) I've had fun with all of the research, spy shots, dealer manuvering, internet perusal, etc. but I think driving and playing with the ZL1 is going to be much more enjoyable!! I, however, may need some counseling to bridge the gap until "Spring 2012"

I'm being patient and enjoying my 2008 Corvette for a while longer before I trade her in for the all black ZL1.

My heater repair guy just informed me today (03/07/12) that his friend is supposed to be getting his ZL1 next week. He ordered summit white with no extra stripes is all I was told. I can't wait to see it around town and stop and check it out.
