3 camaros per dealership a month?
Wasn't sure where to put this but considering mine will take exceptionally long to get here because of this little fact after I ordered it I figured this was the spot.
So seriously what the hell? Why are they limiting three camaros per dealership per month? I ordered mine and the dealership I'd probably have to wait until December before I would actually get it although my dealer did tell me that they might be changing it so they can order as many as they want. Does anyone have any info on this? |

Each dealership gets a certain allocation. It isn't a static number. Your dealership may well be getting 3 this month as well as next and previous months. Another may be getting 10 per month and others 0 per month (only 1 here or there).

Ya, my dealer said that everyone gets 2 per month and I just blew it off because I allready knew the real deal. Don't listen to that.

Yeah see our dealership only has one because their first got pulled back to GM or something but the only one they have is on display and can't be sold. Its quite annoying considering I've been waiting forever for it to come out and now I have to wait eight more months because of our dealerships allocation? They had fifty camaros on order so far, mine being number thirty, so why would they do that if the demand is high? I mean they want to make money right so why not just order the damn things lol

I overheard my salesperson say they would be getting twelve Camaros between now and the end of the year. These were not going to be pre-orders, but lot cars for sale. He then turned to me ands asked for a delivery timeframe if a person wanted to order two weeks ago.
I am not sure if what he is saying is wrong. Maybe it just was not explained properly.

Each dealership does have an allocation number of cars they can order. I was told that too. Hopefully they will open up the ordering process and not limit the number of camaro's a dealer can order in the near future. I ordered mine on 04/27/09 and I was told I wont get it until at least Sept.
