Pete, do you sell suspension stuff for Mustangs? If not now, do you think you may one day expand to Mustang suspension as well (when Ford starts using IRS on them)?

Lets clear some things up. The GT500 came in 2006 as a 2007 MY. Using your chronological analogy, the ZL1 is GT500's wanna be and GM's PANIC attack reaction. As always, GM is playing catch-up in this Pony Car segment. It has been since September 26, 1966 ![]()

I have no reason to doubt the guy, but Jamal Hameedi has said that the 2013 GT500 was bumped up so much because the Boss 302 was getting too close to the performance of the GT500.

There you go again with another Assumption. Have I said that I have driven or not driven a 2013? I'll be in the Detroit in two weeks meeting with an OEM. Is that ironic?

For the Dearborn Dandies, take this idea back to the MotherShip:
Take what you learn from the rehabilitated '13 GT 500 vis a vie suspension set-up and weight-savings, do to a naturally aspirated 5.8 what you did to the Coyote 5.0, stuff it in the BOSS's bay, sauna it till it's under 3600 lb., VIR it till it knows every tar strip 'n pebble...and if the Tag-Heuer reads closer to what the ZL1 did, come on back 'n we'll jaw awhile... That, FoMoCo-friends, is your BEST CHANCE. At that point we'll introduce you to our 1LE/ZEE...'n we'll jaw some MORE... |
