April 7 cancer benefit for Kelly Mankse-Berg

I don't usually post things like this, but I know these people and they are a great family. If you happen to be in the area here's the information:

The Newark American Legion will be supporting 29-year-old Kelly Manske-Berg in her fight against stage 4 breast cancer with a benefit fundraiser. Kelly, born and raised in North Rose, N.Y., was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2008 and at the age of 26 underwent a ...double mastectomy and was in remission until 2 months ago. The cancer is now back as stage 4 in her lungs, brain, liver and lymph nodes. A benefit will be held in her honor to help raise funds for the surmounting medical expenses.

The benefit will be held on Saturday April 7, 2012 at the American Legion in Newark, N.Y. from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a chicken BBQ starting at 1 p.m. at a cost of $10. Chicken BBQ will be available for take-out as well. Entrance to the benefit is free. There will be activities for families, music, kid's games, raffles, as well as a bake sale. All proceeds will go to Kelly and her husband, Adam to pay for Kelly’s medical expenses.

Donations for the benefit can be dropped off at the Flower Mill in Newark, NY. Checks can also be made out to Kelly’s Krusaders for Cancer.

I just called the family and checked, they don't have paypal and aren't very technical (so they aren't comfortable setting one up). Kelly's parents run the Flower Mill, a Mom and Pop florist shop in Newark, NY. People who would like to donate can mail checks there:

I guess so, if you would prefer that. I have only used PayPal once (to buy wheels and tires from another member here) but I just logged in to make sure I still have access. I'll PM you my email address - let me know if there's anything else you need.
