Thanks alot Mole, any info would be great!
I'm not up to speed on the stripe issues. Sorry.

Once again I'm not privy to certain goings on in the Company, I'm just a lowly line worker.

Ok I'll take this one.... The company is asking really nice if we could come in for the first week of shut-down to build some more Camaros. I feel they will get the people they need.
Thanks.

Oshawa Ontario is the most award-winning plant in North America for many years in a row. So if you had the choice wouldn't you want to use the most award winning production plant? mmmm Eh?

Just saying.

Mr. Mole and Oshawa employees,

There are many of us that realize what a good job your doing under such pressure with the problems GM is having. Just wanted to thank all of you for your committment to your job in this tough situation. After all, some suggest this car might just be the salvation of GM. Now thats pressure!! Please ignore any negative comments and keep up the good work. I, among others, appreciate the work your doing, the OT, the feedback....ect. And if I have to wait a little while for a "good" car, than so be it. Just keep up the good work!!

Last I checked, Canada is part of America.
I bet you think that when Columbus discovered America he landed in the United States too...

GM announced yesterday that the Oshawa Camaro and Impala lines would only shut down for one week instead of two!

Web Site

Is there a web site or somewhere people are getting those numbers (1100, 3000, 6000, etc.) i have not been able to figure this out. My dealer said my car was scheduled for production this week (May 4 - May 10th). Is there any way to track what stage it is in? Such as these numbers represent.

The Mole: thanks for your updates. Do you have any news on the V6 manual transmission problem or if there is a problem, or when they might start building them?

Too many variables to guess how many. Lots... that's as close as I can say.

All it means is it's in the proccess to be shipped. It's not like some guy is standing in the yard making sure the cars go out in order. It'll be there before you know it.

The dealer should be able to give you an "event code" which indicates where your Camaro is in the production process; your dealer will need to access Global Connect to give you this information. Another possibility is to call 1-800-222-1020. This is a customer care number in which some people receive help, some people are given questionable information, and others are less than thrilled with the care received.

There is a thread that details each event code stage.

Please ask your dealer for your "event code."

Best wishes!!!
