Drove a 2012

Drove a loaded 2012 2SS auto today (10 miles) - wasn't impressed at all, acceleration was marginal, field of view was very restricted.

As a matter of fact I then drove a 2008 Corvette 3LT auto (23,000 miles) from the same dealer and that snapped my head back. Needless to say I was sorely disappointed ... not purchasing a Camaro at this time - or at all ...

I'm sure I'll be flamed here, for this opinion but it's my opinion what can I say, I'm not a troll - or trolling for Corvettes or any other vehicle, as a matter of fact had no interest in a Vette just drove it for comparison at the behest of the salesman. I'm just a regular guy looking for a new toy, so long folks I hope all of you guys enjoy your rides.

once you drive one for a day or two the blind spots go away, my opinion is the Camaro is not for everyone, all I know is it is the best car for me and the best I have ever owned. to each there own. I have a V6 and the acceleration is much better than the average car or cars I have owned, to me it is fast. Guess it depends where your coming from and what kind of vehicles your used to. I know when I drive the GMC jimmy for a day or two and get back in the camaro it feels like a rocket....LOL

I doubt you truly drove it hard. The car is a beast. Only the Mustang is it's real competition at the price.

Your insight on "restricted viewing" has been noted since 2006 concept. Nothing new. Drive it for a day and you learn to turn your head and look in your blind spots....just like driver's ed. taught you

I drove a Viper GTS for a day. I wasn't impressed. Did I go on the Viper forums and troll? No. I just shrugged my shoulders and said "I guess that car's not for everyone"

Do I think the Camaro is the best thing since sliced bread? Hell no. There are a ton of better cars but the camaro is the best match for me and my family and my needs/wants.

Carry on pal, enjoy whatever you buy. Make sure you come back and tell us what you got.

So you test drove a Camaro and hated it but you took the time to register and post on here about it? I call BS and suggest you find another hobby.
