Pink Slime Meat

Only but meat with the USDA Organic sticker

“Pink slime,” a cheap meat filler, is in 70 percent of the ground beef sold at supermarkets and up to 25 percent of each American hamburger patty, by some estimates.

Still makes some darn good burgers. BTW, there really isn't any enforcement of what foods are allowed to be called "organic".

Now I'm even more glad I pay $50/yr to shop at Costco... I used to buy their organic, but I got cheap and started buying the regular ground stuff. At least it's actually 100% meat and no pink slime.

Ooh, them Porterhouses got that goood taste from da' extra hormones, et cetera what will grow tits on a boy.

Fish am cool as long as ya' stay away from the farmed types of saltwater species like salmon, and da' top of the food chain predator fish in which the toxins of their eaten prey concentrate: tuna, sea bass, shark and swordfish. Smaller fish are the good 'uns like cod, pollock, flounder, red snapper, tilapia, et cetera, yum yum; then there are freshwater fish too: trout, catfish, pike, bass, bream, bluegill, et cetera.

Shellfish is da' bomb: clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, oysters and octopus & squid (not really shellfish, but other types of mollusks). Unfortunately, crab and especially lobster have got hella cholesterol.

Enjoy the bounty of the waters, bro's.

Oh, I get it. "Eat meat," as what my vegetarian wife does when the doors are closed behind us.

No, not that way. I mean literally: chicken, roast, steak, pork chops, hamburgers etc.

So now dog food filler is being put in human food. I don't have a problem with that if it is safe, but it should be labeled and sold at a reduce price to reflect the reduced quality that it is.
