Finally !!!

Some good news.

HP Tuners came over last week. There were a total of 48 fault codes being logged by the BCM. NRE and HP corrected 41 of the 48 so far. They are pretty sure they can get the last 7 figured out this week. But the best news is that with the 41 done so far the car will continue to run (i.e. the alternator charges and doesn't shut off, the basic dash operates and almost all of the alarms aren't yelling) so it is driveable.

Hope the rest get cleared this week. With that we can do the final tranny tune, AMS-1000 Boost Controller maps and then SST can come home. Damn it has been a long 5/6 months since this non-ECM computer 'glitch' reared its ugly head...

Congratulations Bruce, I'm sure you must be really excited. Finally, you'll get to drive you baby.

I can't wait to see some video; Is NRE going to do a special shoot for you?

That says a lot for HP tuners skills... Was it the crossed-wiring issue from a while back that caused most of the faults?

This soon should be sooner than the other soons...
That is one of those words you say enough times and it just doesn't sound right.

The big difference now is that we can run the SST properly and not worry about running off just the battery. There is a huge electrical demand on this vehicle - 5 computers, 2 electric engine cooling fans, 2 electric transmission cooler fans, boost controller - both unit and compressor pump, air-to-water intercooler circulating pump, 2 big Aeromotive fuel pumps, DataLogging system, and of course the all important sound system, etc...
