GM Discounts

I went to the GM discount page and got a code for the Concept camaro. I guess I'll try to take this.

i already put in my order with my dealer and he said that if any discounts are available i can get them.

but when would i put them into my order? when i'm paying for it? or before they start making it??

Does it cost the dealership any money to offer the discount? Do they get the money back from GM?

Good luck on the supplier discounts for the Camaro............... I know there are some dealers accepting them. My dealer is not accepting any discounts on the Camaro. The dealer has the right to decide which vehicles they will accept discounted pricing on and GM has no control of that situation. We as consumers have the right to fill out the GM survey we get once we purchase the car and express our displeasure with any dealership that will not accept GM offered incentives on any car. My understanding is that these surveys have a pretty big impact on the dealers if they get negative feedback.
I Hope you find a dealer willing to work with you.......by the response of people to my car I am thinking dealers are going to realize how eager people are to have this car and they will just get more and more greedy. I hope I am wrong, but we shall see how things unfold.

CamaroScotty referred me to Mike Carnes at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Tx. I emailed Mike and he said that they would indeed honor Supplier pricing. I will be ordering from Mike shortly. It is 7 hours from home but the saving should be 1,200 to 1,400.

Makes no difference, whatever discounts are approved when you get invoiced will apply.

WTF...... Why in the good books name would any friekin dealer not give you "all" discounts that apply......he gets them all back from GM.....Bastids ! I tell ya ......I would find out now from your dealers and if they balk get on it with GM....... I seriously dont think they can void your discounts. All of the few dealers I have purchased GM cars from the last 10 years asked mt if I qualified for "any" of the GM discounts and most of them went down the list to double check! WTF
