I out rank him. He's a pole smoker that's just jealous that you're getting one before him. If his WIFEY would have given him permission to buy a toy earlier, then perhaps he wouldn't have been such a stem licker and made a comment like that...

Pulling rank on a person (whether spoken, or unspoken) has it's time and place. A CAR DEALERSHIP is NOT that place. Just because you're in uniform, doesn't allow you to be an ass. In fact, if ANYTHING, you should be a shining example of all the best the military can offer.

Rest easy tonight, you're a better man (and you'll be cruising before him).

trudawg660 - congratulations on outclassing the staff sergeant. I've been a guest at this site for over a year and have been waiting for an opportunity to make my first post. My husband has been in the military for almost 30 years, and two of our sons also serve. Thank you, too, for serving our country, and thank you for maintaining your civility with someone who should have behaved better. You come to expect things like this from some NCO's a good one is hard to come by now a days. that why i try my best to be the complete opposite

I wanted to make that comment, i will almost have my car for 8 or 9 months before he gets his hands on his maybe longer.
