1) Select the "average fuel economy" screen on the DIC.
2) Press and hold the button on the end of the turn signal stalk.
3) Live a clean life and pray to the weather gods for a tail wind.

Whew, some of u guys are heavy on the pedal for over 4 bucks a gallon. My 2SS/RS LS3 gets around 27 consistently, unless some little prick pisses me off, then it drops rather fast... Here's a shaky picture taken while driving tonight. Forgot to add, I set the cruise on the highway all the time and let the computer do the driving - used to be a big no-no for mpg, but I find that the Camaro has a kick butt cruise control system.

Couldn't tell you what mine is right now but generally I get around 16 city and 25 highway, +/- a couple. That's generally driving speed limit or 5 miles over and I do tend to drive somewhat "assertively" also, but generally only in town and particularly when traffic is being a pain. "Green light means GO people!"

But yeah, I'd love to know under what conditions Chevy got 18/29 for the sticker. I use cruise on the interstate, set at 75 and never see 29. I saw over 30 once and that was only because I was drafting a tour bus for about an hour.

I distinctly remember my '06 Cobalt getting what the sticker said or better. What's the deal on the Camaro? Granted, mpg doesn't tend to worry me too much. Just chiming in.
