TPMS sensor on my 1LT 2012 is going Crazy??

I wanted to know if any of you guys/gals are having similar problems to what I am experiencing at the moment with my tire presure sensors.

I bought my car brand new in November and the tires were filled with Nitrogen at 36psi from the dealer. After a couple of months they went down to 34/33 psi so I decided to put air in them (NON Nitrogen). I didn't have my hand held tire pressure gauge at the time so I only put in a bit on each tire. I crank up my car, drive to my destination and check the TPMS and the screen shows 39/40 psi.

I went ahead and let some air out by pushing on the valve with my finger nail, drove back home and see that the wheels went up to 40/41 psi!

The next day I grab my hand held tire presure gauge and all 4 tires are between 36/37 psi but then I get in the car and check it on the camaro screen and it shows 39,41,40,41 PSI for my 4 tires! . Why in the world does the sensor show more PSI's when I have let air out of the tires (2 times already) instead of putting more in!!!

Does putting regular air mess up the pressure of the Nitrogen put in by the dealer?

Keep in mind that your tire pressure will go up as the tires get warm. Set them to the reccomended 36psi when they are cold.

As far as the difference in psi between your gauge and the DIC, the DIC is not an instant reading. Drive it for a few miles until it updates the readings.

YEah I will have to keep driving it and checking out the DIC. I have driven it for about 300 miles since I've been having this problem but it still hastn't changed. :(
