hello my wife and i just bought a 2012 lt1/ rs ashen gray aka cyber grey we live in Denham Springs.. we sold our 05 scremin yellow mustang vert and boy are we glad of the change we absolutely love our camaro,,,, cant wait to start some mod ! we will be posting pics soon

There seems to be quite a bit of talk about a Louisiana camaro club on facebook. Is there any way to stay informed on what's going on without the need to create an account?

We try to post upcoming events on the club web page but some do get passed over. This Saturday there are a few members headed to Gulfport for SeaBee day with one of the members. Next Saturday the 12th we're thinking about cruising to Raceland/Mathews for the Bayou Rebels 22nd annual car show. Registration is from 9:00-12:00 with awards at 3:30. Then we'll probably do supper somewhere.

There are 5 or 6 of us that are going to Atlanta for the 16th annual F-Body Gathering leaving on May 24th and returning on the 28th if anyone is interested.

Also there are several members headed to C53 in Indy and several doing the BBMOG trip to Canada this year.

Hope some of you can join us.

CCC members, just put in a request to join the Facebook page. I had a 2010 black SS M6 and got rid of it. Just picked up a 2011 silver SS A6 and am very happy with this one. Trying to pick a tuner to send it to now.

Anyone going to the back to the beach thing at the treasure chest? I will be entering my car just because it is cheaper than admission with the people in my car getting in free

Just a heads-up, June 10th marks the official grand opening of NOLA Motorsports park. Event activities start at 10am near the Kart Center and Speed Shop. Hope to see some of you there.

Activities will include:

- 10am, grid up for ribbon cutting
- Inaugural parade lap around the track!
- Hot laps
- Skid car
- Dual "Arrive and Drive" kart tracks will open immediately after
- Hugo and the Honeybees
- R/C Racing
- F1 Canadian GP viewing party @ 5PM

Hot laps includes a ride along with a pro driver on the North Track. Skid car try your skills at controlling our skid (aka drift) car (much tougher than it looks). The Events center will be open to watch on track action in air conditioning. Food and drinks will be provided by Stanley. Full details for track day activities will be provided at the gate upon arrival.
