Not S.S., nor Al O. nor any other individual... It's a collective decision by GM, to not release a car before it's ready... Again, It's good business...

Drake when this all said and done and we both have our ZL1's I'll be driving down 95 and bringing a six pack of beer. Your of legal age to drink right? Just sometimes you act oh never mind . Anyway your like 45 minutes drive from me, and we have alot of camaro people in our area.
I'll be hanging out with some of them on the weekends after I get my
car.

Just because I don't have one on order (because no dealers here have an allocation yet) it doesn't mean I don't want a ZL1 like NOW!
In fact I probably want one more than those that have one on order...at least you can play in the game...be happy for that.

In a nut shell.........COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS....things could always be worse...and yeah, things could always be better, and they will, you just need to wait awhile.

There are entirely too many personal attacks going on and they will stop...

Refresh your mind on the rules of posting... It matters not a whit if you have a ZL1 on order or are just interested in one...

If you are agitating, (trolling, our opinion, not yours) we will take the steps necessary to calm the thread...

If you are name calling and instigating just for your own purposes, we will address it.

I ask that each of you take the time to report personal attack postings and we will address them. If you get caught up in a school yard brawl/shouting/name calling/etc match.. you will go the same way of the others...

We have been more than tolerant due to the excitement and anticipation... but most all of us are adults, and we should conduct ourselves as such....

Not all of us. I like the Vette, love the Camaro and respect the engineers and workers but to say I like GM is a bit of an overstatement.

Would you be the first in line to complain and start threads all over the forum if there was anything wrong with your ZL1.

Please be patient and try to realize that GM is probably just as if not more upset than you are. They want this car on the streets, but I for one applaud their sense of what is proper and right...

To release a car with potential problems is not good business...

As for telling the Moderators of this forum to go elsewhere or dictating how we will run this site..., let me ask you this...

Would you allow someone in your house and give them free rain to badmouth the very place you allowed them to enter... Your House...

We are charged with keeping the peace in here, and we will do so... We are trying very hard to be tolerant since we understand the frustration... but there is a limit... and then we can send those very people badmouthing the place we allowed entry HOME...

What it all boils down to is understanding there are much more important things in life than the delivery date of a new car....

I put off buying my car with an RPO vin... but it didn't happen... I opted to wait due to my wife's illness, did I begrude her for it... Certainly not... Then there were a couple of other things that came up to delay it but that's ok... I still got my dream car...

Patience Please... Allow Gm to deliver to you the best car they can at this time... rather than something you might have trouble with and end up with a bad taste in your mouth...

I agree 100%, they could have held on to the 2010's for a few extra weeks I would not have complained considering. I could say more but I'll leave it at that.

Everyone is intitled to their own opinions on how they are feeling and I think its great hearing the things I am on this site.
Everyone that is actually getting a 2012 is very lucky and I'm sure they realize this from what they have been hearing.
I'm sure that I'm not alone with what happened to me recently which was I was at status 1100 as of Februaury 21st and was contacted by GM on Wed. afternoon telling me they regret to inform me that they pulled my order from my dealer and said they were sorry.
Well that sorry doesn't cut it with me with GM, as I said to the rep all I would like and deserve as a loyal customer of 20+ years is an explanation as to why this happened...Thats all... also to give me a time line to when I would receive a 2013 if I was to proceed with one... no answers still...
Obviously there are a lot more things in life to worry about and I'm sure we all realize this but for a lot of us outside of our normal hussle bussle lives it is our passion to have something like this in our garage...
