I think we could pull a better turn out if we had PACE/NEOCC involved. Even if it's just to spread the word to the members and show their support?

I think PRP is fine. Maybe next year an Ohio spot. Could be a yearly doing in the making?

Maybe we should start a thread to gage the interest? Maybe a poll with potential dates? I'm willing to get it started.
As a newbie to PACE, I would be more than happy to pass the organizing torch to you if you're a veteran with NEOCC. I've only been a PACE member for a month, but I gather than NEOCC and PACE seem to do a lot together.

If the clubs kind of "sponsor" such an event, it'd be nice to encourage even those who wouldn't even think of taking their vehicles above 3000rpm to at least come out and show some support. Nothing wrong if one doesn't want to run their car -- just show up, that is all

Maybe even get some love from THR...

I'm fine with a track rental, but beware PRP track rentals only allow use of one lane so no side by side racing which sucks a bit. I've been to rentals at quaker which is a nice track, but it goes uphill at the end so ET's are always a couple tenths slower than prp. Hope there are some events this summer

Lol, they have like 280 hp or something weak like that. My dads 07 stock was only 300

You're giving them too much credit -- 99-04 GT's were 260hp.

Even the new V6 Camaros give the 99-04 GT a good run if it's stock.

I saw that. One lane kinda takes the fun out of it. Maybe we should look elsewhere. I couldn't find any rental info on Quaker's site?

They do have some events together. And tend to support one another. I'll see if I can gather some support.

It hung for a couple seconds so I don't think it was stock, but it didn't have enough

Speaking of backroads, a closed bridge and wrong directions from my friend made me go all smokey & bandit on some dirty back 1 roads the other day, but having the snow tiresand tread paid off again lol.. it was fun, the dirt and dust cloud made it seem I was going much faster lol.. but now il be spending the afternoon cleaning and rechecking/touching up any chips :[..
