Toesuf and Kmorpheus isnt it mandatory that you drive this weekend. I have the convertible but will be at a fund raiser all this weekend, hunting and dinner, so I wont be able to drive at all. No way am I going to get in it with some muddy boots.

my bad ......what you printed, is what I'm my friend in Des Moines verbally informed me of yesterday. His business vehicles, like mine fall under USDOT rules and he may have ment warning info into that, since they are random checking and enforcing them daily on us smaller truck fleets (Feb 1st, 2010 all GVW vehicles 10,001 or more pounds required to USDOT register)

When he added a statewide traffic inforcement, and said "that my built-in radar detector won't save me from a speeding ticket even if 2 miles over" .....I just passed the info along as a generic info of warning.

I think it would be fun to put the green in the parade...followed by the pink '57...that would blow a few drunk's minds.

My wife took her car in for an oil change a few years ago, and they hit her up with the "your brakes are unsafe to continue driving on spiel" she told them she just wanted the oil changed and that was all. (her brakes we fine, the car had 12000 miles on it) I noticed her car driving kind of odd later that night, 13 pounds of air in each tire. Find a mechanic you trust and never take it anywhere else.

So yesterday I tightened down the hose clamp and drove the car to work today. I opened up the hood to see if it had started leaking again and thankfully nothing was dripping so I think that issue is resolved. Now I am wondering how the hose got loosened.

Hey Grinch, I'd like to have your buddy make some LFX vinyl decals for my trunk lid like your 1LT decals. What did those cost you?

Who is going on saturday for the muscle car thingy and breakfast at Denny's at 0700 in Cedar Rapids?

I'll be pulling out of the Blaine's Farm & Fleet parking lot in Cedar Falls at 0530 for Denny's if anyone else is going text or call me to let me know... 319-429-2814. We'll be making a stop in Vinton to pick up my buddy on the way.

Speaking of no tolerance with the speed limit, who else goes 2 mph UNDER the limit when going through the speed cameras in I380 in Cedar Rapids? I do.

I also plan on getting one of those license plate flip-down thingies, just like James Bond.

Nanci didn't care for the Heritage Rims cuz she thought they dress-down the car so I'll just use them in the winter.

I got these new rims today from a guy here in the forum, ss409cid. They're American Racing Villains, they're brand new, came with a set of chrome locking lugnuts, and only $630 shipped to me. Saved me nearly $300 from what TireRack.com was going to charge. I will be having them installed next saturday, the 24th.

Next weekend that I have off my Dad and I are going to be bringing our cars off the jack stands. Can't wait! After it is down, I am bringing it in to get the Solo's HF cats installed. I definitely want to go to the April 21st car show, but my dads GF is flying in on the 21st later in the day so he might come out to that one.

HELLO EVERYONE! How have you all been? I have been getting settled in here in Waterloo. All good to go now. So it is time to start modding again. Tomorrow I am going to install my catch can and isolator. I'm excited! I will let you all know how it goes and what I think. I will be making a cruise over to Ames tomorrow afternoon to visit my dad and family for the evening (and to let my car learn the new fuel trims with the isolator). If anyone is interested in cruising over there with me let me know. Like Tim has done (btw welcome back Tim you had a little sabbatical from the forum as well) I have put my contact information on a picture in my albums. Let me know or just post here, I have a live subscription to this thread. Take care guys and hope to see you soon.

Had a great time on the CR garage tour - Jamie, Tim, and I represented the 5th gen Camaros that showed. Tim have us all a great tour of the SW side...gps was set to "scenic" mode where you visit block to block. Very nice.

Tim should have opted for the GPS package instead of the SS package for his Camaro.

Had a great time today at the Garage Cruise with Tim, Scott(and his family), and the Corvette guys and gals. BTW Scott, it's JAMES. Not Jamie.

I should have driven DOMINO, but opted not to switch the cars around at 0510 this morning.

I was sorry to see that only 3 of us managed to represent Camaro 5.

For those of you who have been waiting for the Afterburners to go on sale again, here's the 15% off coupon code for them at Rick's Camaros... GPW. Ignore the 10% off sale posted on the website. The coupon code is a private sale, but it ends at midnight tonight(the 17th).

Here's the link http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-l...2010-2012.html

Sorry, had to sneak in a picture of this awesome 'Cuda.

Even more awesome, this Yenko Camaro.

Hello All, I see everyone still busy doing mods . No mods for me, all stock(except for catback exhaust). Probably not going to Indy since I missed out on getting in at host hotels. I have been working lots of days in a row. Some auto-x events coming up...April 1st at Adventureland.....April 15 in Waterloo.....May 20th at Hawkeye Downs. Not sure which ones I can make, depends on work. But for sure at Hawkeye Downs, that one is a blast.Drag strips opening next month too. Been loving the weather !! See ya soon ! Chris.
