I've always heard that vehicles run rich at the start, and with about 900 miles, mine sure is.
This latest fill-up, I've been experimenting with NOT getting the RPMs above 1.5 or so. So far? City rating (the only rating I've got, as I don't do highway with the Camaro) is 13.7. If I drive *normally* (which includes a bit of acceleration fun), then throw me down into the the 11s.

Haven't really paid any attention since I drove cross country... when I hit Alabama I decided to play with it and see what it read... 30.3 at that time. But haven't looked since.

V6
80% Highway 22.5 MPG 44.5 Average >2000 miles on it. I imagine It'll only get better seeing how I drive 50 interstate miles a day. I love it as my DD. Oh and like to see my tach hit 6k if you know what I mean. Otherwise I'm using cruise. |

No clue what it is. I rarely drive it and when I do the only time I notice gas is when the tank gets near empty. I love the car and enjoy it for what it is.....A toy/fun car..........I avg around 500 miles per month if I am driving it regular over the last yr....... Hope all of you guys are getting great mileage in your cars.

My overall avg with just under 10,000 miles is 21.2(I've never reset the car's mpg thing) but I've been getting about 24mpg on the last couple tanks, and that's only semi conservative driving(meaning I don't floor it outta every single light and I set the cruise control when I get up to the speed limit)

I don't have pictures right now, but I just did a trip from Jacksonville, NC to virginia beach, VA, and back. I didn't measure anything on the way there, but the way back, I set everything back to 0, turned on the car, and started driving, when I got back, I turn of the car at the parking lot and then checked how it was.
194 miles, 26.8 mpg, 49.9 mph. I had quite a bit of stop and go, I did take off in a few of them, I drove a long road that was changing from 70 to 55 all the time. I have a V8 and I'm really happy to be getting that many miles per gallon. My coworkers have V6 and I4 and are getting the same of just a bit more on their cars, and they don't have nearly as much fun as I do. When I drove a long part of the road that was 55mph limit, I looked and saw that I was making 27.3 mpg. Now if I drive on base, I'm happy if I get 12 mpg... and most driving I make is on base, so I normally only get about 17 mpg...
