so.....Ryon is out, anyone else planning on going to the dragstrip tomorrow? I am still not positive if I am going but its a possability. A little worried I might break something (Clutch, axel, etc) and then be SOL for the Ruidoso trip. Then again, I would rather great it here then out of town.....
LittleMT - how bout you? I can callout maybellene if you need incentive lol..

..but if you're having to replace a fascia and pay for paint/labor, it's something that I think everybody should consider if they like the looks of the ZL1 front. Same goes for the SS front end. As long as you're not replacing emblems and crap trying to front, there isn't one thing wrong with wanting something that you think looks better IMO. That's the picture I was trying to get you to take!! Very good exposure and color turnout. This really shows more of them badass flames you got there. Until we get you guys to come out more and see Chantilly in person, people won't get to see the amount of effort that went into the paint on your car. This image helps!! Quote:

I didnt run, but am planning on going the week after Ruidoso to see what I can do.
There were a few Camaro's out, one I know put down mid 14's on all runs (Guy). There was a twin turbo from Santa Fe that I talked to for a bit. I couldn't stay long so I only saw his first run which was a 12.8 but it looked like he waited way to long to launch. If anyone wants to go with me the weekend after next that would be great.

![]() We need to get a Camaro night out there and start benchmarking. See where everybody is at and where people could use help. Believe it or not, running with others actually helps ya! That 12.8 is about right though. Non of the Turbo 5th Gens hook at ABQ Dragway. I had a night out there last season where Mike Travers and I went back to back to back to back about 3 times and had it not been for the backend his car would run, it woulda been damn close. I was bangin 1-3 and he'd catch me at the line everytime. I was runnin low 13's all that night and he never cracked 12's. That was before his suspension went in though so I think he's prolly closer to high 12's now than low 13's. Where is Mike Bee Tee Dubs?? You out there buddy? ![]() Last I remember, Diana was running 12.85 and Darren 12.66. I think they are the two fastest 5th gens we got out there. I know both have done a little over the Winter so I'm just as excited to see everybody this year out there. And last I checked we have a couple of new FI cars this season.....eh?? ![]() Traction and a 60' time and we'll start having some fun..... Ivan

I wouldn't worry so much for a specific ET, especially with those 22's, which IMHO will hurt your 60ft, and final ET. Rather, I would be more hopeful for trap speed, which again IMHO is a better indicator of the power your car is really putting down. We made 571hp on only 6psi in Maybellene, and went 11.44@122mph. The 122mph trap speed was rather decent for a heavy car at our altitude and backed up the '571' hp... I think you will trap in the upper teens, it will be gravy if you get into the 120's, and you certianly have a shot. Big Squirrel trapped 120mph in Phoenix, and will probably be a 3 - 4 mph slower up here, unless he has added some more stuff... I think you will be in that ballpark, with a slight advantage being a m6 car, would should trap a few mph faster then the A6. I remember when we ran the 3rd quickest time in the Country (at that time) in the SRT world. We dynoed 471hp which was (again at that time) the 2nd highest dyno... this was back in 2004 and made us known around the Country in SRT circles. It is very very hard to run a 11 in a fwd car. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Haven't decided of I am going to run with the 22"s or not... I would kind of like to just to see what I can do with them on. I have run Gabe (black and red GT500 guy) a bunch of times now from the streets on digs and have beat him by a few cars everytime. He ran 12.5's very consistently this weekend which makes me think I should be right around that number as well (maybe higher if he just ran very good this day).
I can get some Nt05r's from Junior if I want to get a more realistic number for what my car can do. My clutch is just about on its last leg, so the D/R's might just be what does the clutch in though... Almost hoping to break it soon so I get off my but and change it ![]() I know I am probably being unrealistic but I think I should be able to get middle 12's right now. Hell, Vinny runs low 12's and I was pulling away from him by bus lengths last time we did a dig. It's all about traction I understand, can't wait to find out. Again, I am going to go the weekend after next if anyone wants to go with me that would be awesome.... Maybe I can meet some of the people I still have yet to meet on here

Speaking of.... Did you install your Meth or did Motiva? I know they tuned for it, I was just wondering if you did the install? Mine should be here soon, I was going to install myself as I just love to do all the work myself.
Also, are you running pure meth or mixture?
