LATEST MOD UPDATE:
So I installed the APEX scoop and WWF bottle relocation kit... Fairly easy. Easiest thing to do it to remove the driver front tire and the inner fender lining. The bottle is right there. I also had to remove my RotoFab so I could drill into the shield to mount the fill. It took a while to get in done, maybe 2 hours. You have to cut the a piece of the inner bumper out of the way so air actually gets into the scoop. All in all, easy job. You COULD remove the front facia but the only benefit I see to that is the one bolt which you can totally get without removing it. I noticed no difference with this but maybe the dyno will so a HP or two Maybe the throttle responce is better In the end, it can't hurt right?I also installed the BMR strut bar... HOLY CRAP... so now the front of the car is SUPER tight. I for sure notice a difference. The car basically now has ZERO play in it. Very little input to the steering wheel and it goes that way. I took a 90 degree bend at about 35 or 40 and it did oversteer a bit but I was cookin for the corner. It will take some getting used to but I will say, the back roads will be a tad more fun. Weakest link now... absolutely, the tires. :( Once I smoke these tires, I think I am going to look into either a set of rears for the front so I can run 275s all around (which will allow me to rotate and hopefully save some tire life) or look into getting the fronts widenend, putting the 275s up front and putting the widened wheels with 305s out back... have to weigh the costs. The aftermarket wheels I like dont like my budget. The cheap ones... yuck.

I went with the Roto-Fab washer bottle relocate which made it a bit easier on my install. I did the same as you (removed tire and lining). I think I feel better throttle reponse, but hard to tell. But, like you said, it can't hurt! I was going to do the strut bar, but I've read conflicting opinions on it. BMR/Pfadt sell one, Pedders says you don't need it? I'm wondering if it makes it too tight? Sounds like you are digging it though! So maybe I'll end up trying one down the road. |

Next purchase will be solid motor mounts. Waiting on someone besides Pfadt to make a cost effective one. $300+ is silly. |

Welcome to all the new faces!
On the subject of the tower brace. Mine came with the factory installed one. Since I put the suspension and sways on I have yet to get the front of the car to push, but the back can be very tail happy when wanted.
