How did you end up hitting the pole. I'm told you got your insurance only 45 minutes earlier.

Well, I hope this shows that the Camaro is a very safe and sturdy car.

How are you getting your replacement so quickly? Judging by the dealers that are charging more than MSRP, the Camaro has actually appreciated, not depreciated!

I almost cried when I saw that picture. It sure looks like they were going a little more than 25mph

Talk about an "obvious total loss"- As an insurance adjuster I'd be very interested to see how much this Camaro brings in salvage- I bet $10,000+. I hope someone can keep track of it.

Wow this sucks man. I wouldn't have been so nice about the whole thing at all. Now there are some real crappy drivers out there at all ages so its not just young drivers. Even though they are less experienced. I'm 19 fixing to be 20 and never had a wreck or even a ticket at all and I'm wanting a 2011 2SS camaro (most likely not going to happen).

In your 5th gen you were doing 176 mph? I thought it maxed out at 155?

^^^^Very much agreed^^^^, after all the things 2010 SS RS and myself have gone through to get our car, if someone did that to us we would have had them before he/she got out of their car. Sorry to see what happened to Dertybr's car. I feel for you man :(

Wow! I sure hope the following (after everyone being ok):
1. It is totaled so you don't have to worry about it being poorly repaired.
2. As someone else said, I hope the kid's parents are loaded and the owner of the car gets plenty of their money.
3. I hope the kid(s) learned a lesson.
4. I hope that never happens again.

Glad to hear you are OK Dertybr. Though it sucks to have lost the car (though you are getting a replacement) the ultimate thing is that you came out of this with just a few scratches and nothing major.

and I don't want your a** driving anywhere near me. I have clients in S. Florida and. by a huge margin, you guys are the rudest, most impatient and law-breaking motorists in the United States. I wish you all the luck in the world; but, I'm setting the over/under for your first accident in the Camaro at 3 weeks.
