Pollen & Paint
Idk about any others parts of the US but here in GA....its pollen season...and no matter how good you clean the pollen off....Tomorrow its gonna be there!!!!
SO I was wondering if just leaving the pollen on the car will hurt the paint and if just rinsing it off every couple days will suffice Any tips would help Thanks |

In Florida we started getting Oak pollen about a month a go. My cars sit outside 24/7, and I just wash them once a week. I think as long as you have a good base of wax on the car, you should have no issues with your paint.

Pollen is not going to cause any damage. Just looks bad until you have a chance to wash it off.
We are just now starting to see signs of that "green dust" on our cars here in Mid Missouri. The Camaro is a daily driver, so I expect it. But my Vette even gets some on it just sitting in the garage.

Pollen is the least of your worries, but I wouldn't just wipe it off dry with a cloth, either. I'd pay more attention to (acidic) bird crap though; get it off ASAP as it could leave marks, waxed/polished paint or not...

I am just rinsing off the yellow pollen during the week - no drying, and washing on the weekend.

Just rinse it off an watch that yellow powder disappear. You should be fine, but a good coat of wax can't hurt.
