I'm not worried too much about other GM cars borrowing things from the camaro.
Only a few ways it will work out.

All Chevys start to look like camaro's, camaro sales will be affected by this negatively.
Why get the more expensive camaro when a cheaper car looks just as cool, and prob has real nav.

Chevy would have to keep changing the camaro to make it look different and special, and this is a difficult path to go down as the more drastic changes the more chances to screw up. And until Chevy proves they can make consistent back to back design successes, my confidence is moderately low.

This whole, let's make the entire line up look the same that's sweeping the industry IMO is a bad idea and just lazy design. How many people really give a shit if some one else can recognize their car as being a Chevy, or ford or Toyota from one glance? Not many I would bet. That type of thinking only really works if your brand is of higher status. Like a Benz or Bentley or anyhing that makes a statement that you are doing good based solely on the brand of the car. The average person couldn't tell you the difference between a C class or a SLS AMG. All they know is it's a Benz, and that's all that matters. Chevy is not that brand. And they know this and is the reason you won't ever see a prominent bowtie on a corvette.
And why people take them off their camaro.

The downside being, if someone doesn't like your design language that your putting on every car in the line up. Suddenly you have lost a customer for your entire brand. Not just the suv that looks weird or the sedan that may not look great to someone. The entire line up is crap now. And that's exactly how I feel about a lot of brands now.
I don't like the way their unified design front end looks and thus I hate every car they make. If I do like it, then I tend to like the whole line up. But this all or nothing approach is way too risky. Needs to be a middle ground cuz I'm only going to buy one car. It's not like if I like the whole line up, I'm going to buy the whole line up. I used to love the look of BMW. Now everything is ugly and I don't look at them the same way or even consider them an option for a future purchase. Dead to me. And Chevy would be in the same boat if it weren't for the fact the camaro doesn't look like any of the other crap. Had the camaro used the same front end design on the rest of the Chevy line up, I doubt the sales would be as strong. I for one wouldn't own one.

So I wouldn't worry about it too much. It will either work out really good or go horribly wrong. Chevy knows all this and I'm pretty sure they are walking on egg shells when dealing with the camaro.

its about identity, being different, having something your own. i agree its to much and if they jumble all the cars together then we might aswell buy a cheaper car that looks similar to the camaro.

individuality. i'd prefer not seeing same parts on a car of lesser value or higher value.
it would take away from what i have, a CAMARO. not a chevy voltcamarocruzecorvettemalibu LT model

If you ask me, Camaro copied the Corvette, not the other way around.
The Camaro doesn't look like somebody whacked it hard in the azz with a board. JMO.

You have to admit the new '13 Malibu does resemble the Camaro.

I was at the Denver Auto Show yesterday, and the 2013 Malibu looks great in person. Yea they took some ideas from the Camaro, but it made a very stylish midsize sedan. I give GM cudos for making a very well styled, slightly muscular looking, car that is typically boring to look at.

You guys need to relax. Seriosuly.

Automotive brands are all about cultivating an identity. Most brands require a "halo car" to really embody the ideal look of the brand. These are almost always performance vehicles. In Chevrolet's case, this has become the Camaro.

The Corvette, although a Chevy, is treated like its own brand. HOWEVER, due to the overwhelming success of the Camaro's acclaimed design, you will see the sharp, bold form language carry over to the evolutionary Corvette design cues. And by the way, the Corvette is not the only car in history to have 4 taillights...

The trait you guys are looking when it comes to compairing these designs is "form language". You will also see a little bit of that in future Chevrolet products. But dont think that every other product will look like the Camaro... But they will have little hints sprinkled in each design, in different areas. That is how you create a "brand identity."

What we should all be happy about though, is that OEMs are putting more and more and more effort into DESIGN than ever before. Cars are about emotion, and passion. Great design is what gets our pusle pounding in the presence of an amazing car, not spreadsheets of headroom measurements and luggage capacity. Vehicles that none of us would ever pay attention to in the past are going to look better than ever before. And THAT is something to be excited about!

I have no idea what that last picture is with the Camaro's. Look's like some kind of photoshop. It's not a Malibu.

Other than that, the rest of Chevrolet's line doesn't look like the Camaro.

If I must share the road with other cars, why not let the manufactures make them look good. Hell, that's why we all bought our Camaros in the first place.

The fact that automakers are picking up on we by what looks nice is a good thing, don't discourage that!
