Ehh. Wouldn't be the first time.
I get stuff like this all the time but I NEVER post any of the info I get from them unless it's already public knowledge. And epic to everyone complaining that the car isn't a "stripper car." FFS, it's 2012. Selling a car without A/C or a radio or center console is what the Japanese and Koreans do so they can advertise their cars at a super low price that nobody can buy them for because no dealer is dumb enough to stock a stripped-down POS. GM would get bashed to hell and back if they sold a stripper Camaro, especially if the Boss Laguna Seca is their primary target with the 1LE.

I think it's time to rewrite the title of one of their early hits... "I'm a ZEE-liever"! We could make that the "Official Theme Song/Anthem of the House of Z" ![]() Mac, we need a vote (after all, it IS 2012...). |

Searching for the truth

I am just going to sit here and be quiet, no need to get all craz and ask
WHERE IS THE Z/28 Everything will be fine. Ok so love the idea of bringing out the 1LE nameplate but why not the Z/28 nameplate. What else can we be waiting for to use it? Don't get me wrong I really like the 1LE and as more info comes out I know it will be almost everything I am looking for, but I am left wondering what they will use the Z28 nameplate for????????? If they are not going to use it for the 5th gen, why wont they tell us that and why? I know that most likely nothing can be said to why but it seems odd the Chevy would not use one of its most important and still most sought after nameplates.

(thought I'd leave this here as well)
STOP THE PRESSES! Now that I've had time to digest what has taken place I believe more than ever before that there will be a 5Gen Z28. Why? Because the 1LE is not its own nameplate, but an option on the SS. This allows for another nameplate to be introduced. It also allows for a reasonable priced upgrade over the SS for the more performanced based customer with a little extra change. Also the facts that the 1LE has NO MRC or that the Braking system in the 1LE is a 4/4 design and not a 6/4 design as shown on the show car. Why after Fbod said in the poll for the 1LE "AS SHOWN"? Very Smart GM, saving the MRC and the 6/4 Brakes for the Z28. And add to it that Fbod said "we are never done" (read between the lines). I believe more than ever that the 5Gen Z28 will come to fruition!!! |

MRC is an amazing technology that Chevrolet has integrated into the ZL1 to deliver incredible all round performance. In a track car you want to be able to change coil rates and spring rates. IMO |
