Question New Challenger "Rallye Redline"

New package for Cahllenger V6 seems to add R/T parts.

Maybe Chevy will Frankenstein some SS Brembos, gears and such to the V6 in some kind of performance package? 1LE is only available for V8 models right?

The Rallye Redline doesn’t add muscle to the Challenger’s 305-hp Pentastar engine—nor does it deliver the four-door Charger Redline concept’s staged engine options—and it can only be had with a five-speed automatic. But what you do get for the Redline’s $29,670 sticker price is extensive, and includes the Hemi-powered R/T’s firmer front and rear shocks and thicker anti-roll bars (27 mm in front, 20 mm out back), plus a quicker, heavier steering setup and 20-inch gunmetal-gray wheels with 245/45 all-season performance tires. The brake discs and final drive are upgraded to R/T specs as well; in the case of the former, that means vented 13.6-inch platters up front and vented 12.6-inchers at the rear, and for the latter, a shorter 3.06:1 ratio. The Rallye Redline Edition also gets hood scoops, a decklid spoiler, racing stripes, and available heated front seats in exclusive red leather. Exterior colors include silver, gray, white, or black.

The Challenger Rallye Redline costs $1750 more than the Challenger SXT Plus on which it’s based, but if you don’t like this particular look, know that basically everything except the gray wheels and striping can be fitted to the lesser model by ordering the Super Sport Group. That option runs $1500 on its own, though, and we can think of worse ways to spend an extra $250 than the rollers and the get-out-of-my-way red stripe that headline the Redline.

I like this. I wish Camaro LT had a sport suspension package. I can better afford that than a 1SS.
