The Body kit looks better when you Mold it on and Paint it on the car, but who wants to re-paint a new car. Also the diffusers should stay black, they look less plasticy cheap.

People have no imagination these days.

very nice! makes me rethink silver again. was wondering, had anybody thought about painting the ground effects other than matching the normal base color, what if they paint the ground effects black to match the hood stripes? if no one has done that yet, i wonder if someone could photoshop that to see how it would look. just curios.

I may have to start working some OT so I can have these added to mine. The GFX just look fantastic when painted. Especially the rear, those trapezoidal exhaust ports match SO much better than the standard round.

I actually prefer the ground effects unpainted. I think it makes them stand out more, they're more noticible, and if you have black or cgm stripes, the unpainted color matches pretty well. Plus you won't have to worry about chips in the paint if you leave them unpainted.

But I do still like the way gfx look painted and this looks really good.

Eh. Not a fan personally. I like clean and simple and think that's too much.

Sweet! That's my future car ordered on 5/5/09. Only I decided to leave the GFX unpainted because I felt like it would blend with the black stripes, black tint, black sunroof, black bow ties, etc. And I agree, I'm not crazy about the fuel door. I've been looking at them in black as well, but I don't want to overwhelm the silver car with "too" many black accents. Gonna wait till I have it in hand to decide on the fuel door. If anyone finds pics of a SIM with the unpainted black ground effects, please let me know. I've searched the net way too much and have not found one!

One last thought was some round black exhaust tips in those rectangled outlets so that that they aren't as noticeable. I might have to look into that when changing the mufflers. Feel free to praise or bash. Opinions vary and freedom of speech. ;-)

I agree, looks much better when left black with everything else painted.
