Well, here is my quick story. I put my order in last October with a deposit of $4000.00. My dealer could not tell me nothing as of last week, said it would be November probably. I live in South Carolina, found the car I ordered in stock in Chicago. Flew there Friday bought the car and drove back 14 hours with my new camaro. The car is great and worth every penny over sticker I paid for it($5000.00). This car is awesome!!

WOW $5,000... You could have saved $5,000 if you had looked around for a MSRP dealer.

But as long as you are okay with that.

I don't fault you for this. I was lucky enough to get MSRP in writing because I ordered early and demanded it in writing.

If I had not ordered early and I saw one sitting on a lot exactly like the one I ordered, I can't say I would not pay over MSRP. If you have have the money to spend, spend it. It's your business. I say congrats to you. Also, you're driving a Camaro right now and I'm still driving my Xterra. You win!

I've been to several dealers in my area checking out the V6 dealer cars and just about all are sold already for as much as $11,000 over MSRP and as little as $5,000. Aparrently a lot of people dont care that they are paying way over MSRP.

Congrats. For those of you with opinions on how this guy spends his money please keep them to yourselves. All of us have the right to spend our money the way we want to. Just because you wouldn't does not make it wrong. You only get a vote if it is your money.

I agree we all have the right to spend our money as we see fit, however telling people not too express their opinion? We all have that right. If it steps on someone toes a little bit so be it, but that's life. You can't sensor someones opinions or statements assuming they are not threatening or something of that nature. Absolutely, great post !!!! Many more pre-orders may end up doing this before it's all over...
