If there was a product that gave 60hp and 7 more mpg, trust me you'd know about it.
And it could cost 500 bucks and we would all still buy it lol... |

I've done it on my 97 LT1. IIRC the scanner said IAT was ~57*...
But in Mississippi where it hot, lots of water in the air, and fairly high effective altitude (considering actual altitude is probably 250' lol), more fuel is usually just a good way to foul plugs and wash the oil off the cylinder walls. edit: When I say I did it, I mean I went to radio shack and bought a 52 cent resistor. IIRC its 52K OHM but thats been a dozen years ago. It was one of those "free mods" people tried long before people started selling them on EBay as power boosters for JETTA-CIVIC-VOLVO-TACOMA-FERRARI-CAVALIER ect.. lol |
