I agree, but the next big jump from 1LE to Z28 would be at least a 460HP engine if not the LS7 that we all want.

To make a Z28 start with the 1LE and add:
LS7 6/4 2 Piece Brakes Full Aero Kit Hot Wheels Hood Hot Wheels Wheels Mono Tube Suspension 4 Corners Race Designed Bucket Seats Leno Front Fascia Euro Rearend Heat on high forever! |

If they use the Z28 to showcase the new DI (HO) engine (ala LT1 1970) I would be fine with that.
But a 427 5Gen Z28 would be so COOL!

I would be happy with the new DI engine in the Z28 if it was an HO version. I'd still prefer the LS7 it just fits the Z28 image perfectly.
