My Thoughts and New and Old Camaro Pics
Man oh man... Where do I even Start??? I had not even seen a new Camaro before I ordered one on March 31, but I took the plunge anyway just from the pictures I saw.
All I have been doing for the last 6 months is trying to find a car I want to buy. I love cars, and just want one that I am completely satisfied with, but I set my sights on one and then change my mind over and over again. Then I noticed the Camaro on the Chevy website while I was searching one day, and that was pretty much it. I had to have it. The only one I saw was at the auto show in Chicago in 2006 and it was a concept. There was no stopping me...hounded the wife for about a month none stop until she caved in and said ok go for it. And I was like !!! Now just waiting, and that is really hard but I am coping--yeah ummm more like . Finally went Wednesday to see on in person. It was the weirdest feeling as we drove to the dealership...nervous and excited with anticipation... Then we walk into the dealership and there she is, a 1LT/RS Victory Red!!! Unbelievable, I was like holy sh**, this is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. Picture do not do this car in justice. The curves and lines of this car are a sculpted masterpiece of design and is just sexy as hell. I shocked with amazement knowing this car was going to be mine in a couple of days. Sitting in the cockpit was amazing, definitely felt like you were sitting in the sports car that was legendary in its own right. Interior is gorgeous... Not the best materials in the world, but who cares!!! I think it is perfect. It had the base audio system and even that sounded awesome, so I am sure the BA system will be sweet sounding. The cloth seats are very comfortable, way more so that my Honda Civic, and hug you really nicely. The view is a little blinding out the windows, but I drive through the mirrors so it won't bother me a bit. I met all my expectations and more. Also the steering whell is awesome, unlike the steering wheel in the Challenger which was taken from the 300, which I don't understand. The deep dish and leather is sweet. All I can say is the best car I have ever seen give or take a couple.Anyway, love the car and congrats to any that already have there. Sorry for the long read, but had to get it off my chest... Enjoy the pics, more to follow when I get my car..

I agree. The first time I really had the opportunity to look at the car without a lot of people in the way (today) I was truly starstruck. Sitting in the driver's seat was an experience in itself. The steering wheel, firmness of the seat, all of it felt "right". I would order one tomorrow if I knew I could afford it (getting married next month), but the Lord has provided for my family and I thru this whole economic mess, so we'll see...
