Okay, the parking lot games I would bring are just fun. The one with hoola Hoops has nothing to do with using them the way they are intended to be used. Maybe we should just use the old "If you build it they will come" theory & set it up. Those who like to have fun will participate & lots of others who are chicken, will have fun watching.

Don't feel bad I didn't know what cornhole was except the one everyone was thinking it was that you couldn't post in this forum. By the thread that Mike put up it like horseshoes except you try to put beanbags in a hole. 62 years old and I learned something new today.

I never heard of it before and it still has me laughing. I heard of bean bag before but never CornHole. I asked my wife if she wants to play cornhole and she slapped me across the face and went to bed.

My neighbor built his own boards, bought some duck canvas and corn seed. His wife put the bags together on their sewing machine.

The game is played like horseshoes. 1 pt for each bag on the board, 3 for throwing it in the hole. Add up all pts for each person in that round. Say I get 2 on the board and 1 holed. I get 5 pts. My opponent score 2 in the hole and 1 on the board they get 7 pts. Final score that round is now 2 to 0. Whoever scores the most points that round throws first. Play continues until someone goes over 21.

There are probably 100's of ways to play this game thou.

Yeah, I didn't know what it was til a couple of years ago. Played traditionally in the south before football games and Nascar races, and in lots of backyards. My daughter and her boyfriend made their own boards, ordered the bags. We now have one board with University of Oklahoma theme and one with University of Georgia theme, and matching bean bags. It's a fun simple game to play. Just have to transport the boards

Y'all did make me lol though!
