First road trip in the Camaro

Took my first road trip in the Camaro. It was over 2k miles from Minnesota to Texas and back. Camaro did great and was comfortable. Loved driving it on the trip.

Got the Camaro in March 2010....In September 2010, drove Route 66 from Chicago to L.A. (from Indy), then from there went up through Nevada, Utah...hit I-70 and rolled through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and back home to Indy. 5100 mi trip. Most fun I've ever had in a car...........at least in the front seat..........Well, no, actually..........uh, never mind.
Only issue, pinged the hell out of the paint on the front facia and chipped the windshield. Ahh well, battle scars...at least she is unique
Gonna do it again this year!..................In a rental.

Have you looked into how much rentals are? I know down in Florida it's about $1200 /wk, you get the first 400 miles for free, after that $ out of your pocket. So if you rented for your two week trip, you're looking at a cool 3 g's.
