LED Scanner WTH!!!!!!!!

I bought a RGB LED Scanner and i CANNOT get this thing to work right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, when I connect it to power and ground it lights up and starts doing a scanning feature, but it will not respond to the remote. Second, all the LEDs do not light up. There are about 4 or 5 in the center that don't work. This is frustrating the crap out of me!!!!! Does anybody know what could be wrong???

I was installing it this afternoon. AAC is closed today, so could not get a hold of them. I tested the remote and it's sending out a good signal. As far as the LEDs I'm guessing they are bad. This just makes me so mad!!!

That sucks. I hope you checked to see that it worked before you installed it all in the car?

I feel like I should say something, not bashing a vendor here just hate to see members waste money on a generic low quality piece.

All I can say is that another vendor is working on a LED scanner, said vendor and I talked about it and the main thing was that it should be high quality, made to fit the mail slot, no cutting the bumper or minimal cutting, I don't know the exact details yet or a timeline but I will gladly wait for a high quality made to fit piece.

if you tried to bend it you broke the connections on the center LEDs did the same thing to mine and had to buy another one.

Traded in my car recently for a 6speed and will definitely NOT install it again.

It should be high quality just like they claim, but I don't know. And if I did happen to break it trying to fit it in the slot by bending it, I don't feel that that is my fault. What am I supposed to do, put it in the slot without bending it? That wouldn't work, and we all know that.

Yeah my remote for the 30" inch rgb scanner crapped out on me the second day, tried contacting AAC but I think it would just be easier buying a new remote then packing it and paying for shipping. Save me time and trouble at the end.
