Best compliment you've ever gotten on your car?

Had a mustang driver go out of his way, to follow me into a parking lot; he drove by holding up one finger, I guess that means, he wants a Camaro.

It's funny, I almost expect people to make comments about it now because it happens so often. I've gotten the little girls screaming "I love your car", ALOT of 70+ year olds telling me what a "sharp" car I have, at stop lights. I've had a little boy stop while he was walking with his family, literally dropped his mouth open and stared until I went around the corner. By the time I rounded the corner, his family was a half a block ahead of him...that one made me laugh a little. The best for me though is my 3 year old...every time he sees the car, he tells me "Daddy, I love your coolest black Camaro. It's my favorite car in the whole wide world." Nothing beats the smile on his face when I throw his car seat in the back and take him for a ride, or pick him up from pre-school in it.

Got pulled over by an Indiana State trooper while doing 88mph in a 70mph zone. He asked for the usual things, went back to his car, came back a few minutes later with just the written warning. After giving me my license and stuff back he asked how I like my car, I told him I loved it. He told me the only reason he pulled me over was so he could get a closer look, said it was gorgeous, and then said that with my license plate he really expected me to be going faster. lol

I pulled up next to a few good ol'boys this afternoon in a probably 98' Chevy Silverado. The passenger says to me, "pull up further so we can get a better look of your car." Just driving through a neighborhood I've had girls yell out, "we love your car." So do I, so do I.

A cool compliment I got the other day was when I was cruisin the back country roads (out here they are all back country roads) and when I came up behind a couple of country boys in an SUV and they were doing the speed limit until they spotted me, they then just slowed down just so that I would pass them, when I did they were giving me the thumbs up as I went by, they then sped up to catch up with me for a while. When I turned off the road they were hollerin and giving the thumbs up for a final time.

The night I got my 24's mounted this guy at a gas station ( I think he was intoxicated ). Came walking around looking at it and said -

"dat right der is a bad muhfka look at the wheels on that muhfka.... it say SS so he got that big boy under there! He got them eyeball headlights! When you pull out get on it!"

I didn't go tooo nuts when I left just hit it a bit to get to 45mph and heard him yelling lol.

one time i was pulling out of a driveway next to a ballfield across the street from a elementary school.
at that exact moment, they must have been starting a large gym class or field day or something, because about 10 teachers were walking a huge group of elementary school kids across the street and into the driveway on their way to the field.
within seconds, me and my camaro were stopped, surrounded by 200 schoolchildren. i don't think one of them didnt look like this:
after about the 15th or 20th "nice car" i heard, i lost track.

definitely the best compliment i've had.

Thought I'd revive one of the shallow threads C5 is apparently famous for nowadays

Today I went to a doctor's office to pick up some medical records and saw a badass black 1969 Camaro sitting outside, so I parked next to it. When I came back out there was a guy who was probably in his 70's about to get in it. I'd left my phone at the office or I'd have been taking pics!

Anyway, he asked me if this was my car and I said yes. He said that when he met his wife in 1970 he was driving this car (his '69) and that she had a blue one just like it. He said he swore the only reason she talked to him was because of his car and that they used to cruise in their Camaros together. He also said he'd lost her a couple years ago and that he had planned on buying her a blue one just like mine, but she got sick. He said my car is beautiful and so am I and that I should never sell it. I told him I don't ever plan on selling!

I thought this was really cool just because it was such a sweet story, and he still had his Camaro, and my boyfriend actually has a black SS, too! So just thought I'd share. He made my day!
