yep

tinted the tail lights, side markers, blinkers, and windows. blacked the bowties on the front, rear, & wheels. added matte black stripes. painted the calipers red

it's at MSRP + i think 3k for the extra mods

yep

dealer-custom job

they removed the lenses, spray-tinted them & wet-sanded them for the glossy smooth finish
wet sanded them? im not familiar with that process...how is it done?

They have been selling tint in a can for years. Most auto part stores carry them. Ebay also. Easy process. Take off . Tape off. Spray a little. Let dry. Spray another coat for darker. Wet sand after you get the desired darkness. (wet sand is when you take a very very fine grit (i believe its 2000) and wet the sand paper before you sand with it. Gets the "tint" very smooth. When done sanding apply clear coat and your done. Next thing to do is get ready to be pulled over by the "man".

i went with him & some GTOs to the drive-in & following the car, the lights are still highly visible, especially when the brakes are applied.

State law here in texas require visible light for tail lights at a "plainly visible" from a 1000 feet (especially during the day). Those would not be visible a 1000 feet during the day. They would get you for the sidemarkers also. It's totally up to the officers descretion.
