The Retail industry is full of surprises..

Anything can happen.

Just a matter of how things get handled to rectify the issue.

I am sure treefrog will be taken care of.

Teefrog?

Have you read this thread and the other threads referenced?

There are 4 guys in this thread alone that Perry owes money to and STILL hasn't ordered their wheels. I'd say you are talking about the over-rated custom wheel industry as a whole is full of surprises.

FTR, in my opinion any business that requires payment in full before the custom order is placed is a petri dish waiting for this type of result.

Does anyone have any experience with small claims? Should I contact Perry Price's local police? Could they help me out?
Small claims court usually has a limit to how much you can file for and you have to do it in the state where the company resides. You don't need an attorney for SCC and can argue your case yourself...usually successfully. There is a Federal Internet Crime reporting program at: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx and you should file there. Also, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Also each state has a Consumer Advocate that you can file a complaint with and that's free. If you file a small claims court suit, file also for court costs and attorney fees. If you have the company's mailing address, send them a certified letter or pay to have the sheriff deliver a letter from an attorney outlining your plans to sue them. Maybe one of these options could get their attention....you've been patient long enough if it's over 45 days.

Cheers,
You vouch for this deadbeat who screwed all the people on this thread, start writing checks to those who he screwed as I'm sure he'll pay you back since you vouch for him.....I sure as hell wouldn't do business with him or your company, birds of a feather flock together...You might want to reconsider who you vouch for...

In my own defense I can say I only sent half! He did give me the option of sending full payment.. That would have made it for sure harder to lol at! lol <-- see that was really hard but I managed.. <G>

Good thing.

Of course hind sight being 20/20 it might have been your first sign of trouble with him. He obviously didn't need the money to order your wheels.

You seem to be handling it well enough.
