Agreed. That's also what I would recommend to anyone who hasn't been able to compare the two methods. Plus, film is removable so you can return whichever part you've tinted back to stock.

Yes, this is one of two ways to go about this with good results and durability! I've also shot them with a coat of black base coat and 2 coats of clear on my Jeep. I wouldn't mees with that rattle can stuff, but i understand if you don't have access to a paint booth.

so I went Sunday after church to show a camaro to my dad that I saw at my local dealer 2 nights before and they had a Red v8 ls3 with leather seats and every option. The car was beautiful but what amazed me was the sticker price they had on it $60,000, with tax included according to the tag. I told the guy that it was 17,000 cheaper Friday... I guess they really don't wanna sell it

Love everything but the stripes. Should have went with the factory ones. Looks great, otherwise! Everything goes together very well. My favorite is the bow tie!

I thought the tail lights was just a tad too much, JMO though. I like that bowtie, even better if it was all flat black for my CGM . Thanks for the pics.

Here I was thinking clear lenses (on the side marker lights) would look best. But now that I've seen this, I think I may have to have all the lenses tinted instead... I like the contrast between the silver and black. How are they doing the black bowtie? Does someone make colored overlays that you adhere to the bowtie?

I like the look, I plan to have everything tinted or blacked out when I do get one.
