No way would I pay $1500.00 for a plastic insert that goes in a $600.00 hood!!!

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice ...I did that to make it look bigger , kinda like the actual bumble bee look ...and it is painted ...

That is a hood not an insert, And will soon see if the GM insert fits on an LS3 with a 2300 on top.

I don't see why it wouldn't. But why on earth should the insert cost almost 3x the price of a hood??? Are the inserts handmade by Tibetan monks???

It's almost like someone accidentally put an extra zero on the price making a $150.00 part $1500.00, and when someone actually bought one, they figured, what the hell, let's see if we can sell more at the price...

I mean sh!t, you can get the whole front end: facia, lights, bezels, grilles, wheels wells, harnesses, fasteners etc, for less than a simple molded plastic hood insert??? Something just doesn't add up here...
