Just found out, by calling the stripe company the GM is using (and I got this from the guy in charge of putting the stripes on the Camaro's) that the sticker place is all caught up and are not causing any delays as a result of applying the stripes. For instance, he looked up my VIN - stripes were completed the day after they got the car... arrived with them on 4/22, completed 4/23 and still sitting there.

Bad news - they still have a ton of cars (mine included!) sitting there on the lot.. completed... and ready to ship... just waiting for transportation! Mine has been there, waiting, since 4/23. He went on to mention that he's sent the information multiple times to the shipping/transportation company... each day he thinks the trucks will come... each day, they don't.

The sales manager is on vacation this week (what a surprise) so I blasted an email to "the other guy" asking that question. No response yet.
