I have BS in Finance '05, an MBA in Financial Services '07 and im a Ceritfied Internal Auditor and Certified in SAP ERP. Im an AVP for one of the largest banks in the world and work on IT service delivery and Operational audits. Im 30 and in the 7 yrs since getting my undergrad ive bought a house and this car on my own. Major in Finance or Accounting and get with a really big bank or brokridge and you'll never have to worry about money as long as you work hard.

Oilfield. Work on workover rig with operators pay. Been at it for 7 years now.

I won the lottery a couple years ago for more than 50 mil after taxes. Saw this car on the dealers lot and walked in and bought it.

OP, just get your degree. Even an Associate's.

I don't think basing your decisions on what other people have done career wise (or bought) is going to help you.

You're on the right track. Get your education. Everything else will fall into place.
