Update on my dip project. Half the car is done. Need to go back to Lowes to get more dip to finish the other side. It's definitely different.

Yeah, it needs a wash but other than that, it's looking pretty BA I think. I should have my interior ABL led kit from Southwest Speed next week some time.

I was way too optimistic on that dip stuff. It turned out every bit as good as you might think spraying $7 worth of liquid rubber on your rims would turn out.

The passenger side that I posted a pic of above is the only good I did and even that's not perfect. The driver's side is, in my perfectionist opinion, a disaster. From a few feet away, they look fine but there was a bunch of touch-ups, re-dos, and fixes and it's just not a professional look. At least not how I did it.

Chris, sorry it didn't turn out,

from the pictures it was looking good.

Maybe this is a good thing it might have stated flaking off driving down the hoghway.

From picture distance it does look good, but I know where all of the inconsistencies and bad spots are and it's going to bug me until I do something about it. Cheap DIY's are great but only if the odds of messing up are very low. This isn't one of those.

Thanks for the condolences though.

Oh and I voted for Jeff too.
